i dowan~~~~ i don't like them!!!! BECAUSE THEY REMIND ME OF THE FREAKING CHEMISTRY! ALCOHOL IS USED AS THE SOLVENT IN NAIL POLISH! this is because organic substances are present in nail polish. organic substances does not dissolve or dissociate in water. so in order to dissolve it, and organic solvent like alcohol must be used.

in order to have colours in certain substance, coloured ions such as Cu2+ ions which is blue iin colour is used. Coloured ions are generally formed by the transition metals or elements when they tend to lose their valence electron to achieve a stable octet electron arrangement. Transition elements displays metallic properties such as malleable, ductile, shiny surface etc. hence they are called transition metals. they have multiple oxidation number... okay... i shall stop typing and study my chemistry text book now...
